5g disappear for a good while now verizon s20 plus not sure why

day before christmas when i got phone when i came back home did all those dumb software updates and the 5g signal and ya know sometimes 5g goes back and forth to 4g when i'm at home

however when i was in town and when i was down at my brother house christmas day franklin tenn i saw that 5g

so it was there i believe up until last week of feb into march not i'm sure feb or march update made it not work now just 4g even when i'm in town nor when i went down my brother house mon it was 4g as well

i'm trying to figure out what happened since its now april yesterday morning i thought i was taking to somebody verizon store on phone apprently digital person

i try to explain to them that i already got 5g was working when i'm in town for awhile then stop yada yada they think something due with slim card need new one again i don't know what happened 5g if verizon cut it off somehow women also said i was 4g plan<-how is it possible if day before christmas of last year 1 of software update the 5g one made it come up

i did last month did talk to walmart verizon person a little last month since when got phone from them 2 year contact saying 4g apprently he was too busy talking other guy

i guess either this week or 1 day next week i need to go back to verizon store and figure out what is matter if phones with 5g in town still supposed to show 5g or just 4g

i know nashville is 5g i am going down there may 18th vanderbilt eye sugrey surely the 5g signal will come up instead 4g right?

what do you guys think is the matter i haven't done nothing to it on global do you think slim card issue happened after feb or march software update or what that made it go away and have been staying on 4g for awhile now

Did you test the speed of the 5g when you had it to see if it was 5g speeds? If you are on a 4g plan it may not work with 5g, although I don't know why it showed 5g previously. Have you tried putting in a new SIM card to see if that works? May be worth trying.

i forgot what system update it was that bring up the 5g to the phone i think it was oct one 2nd system update or something like that? i install so many software update that night 1 of them did do it and yes 5g did come up however sometimes when i at home it switch back and forth 5g to 4g in the past no i haven't yet

but like i said in town 5g in past would be come up on phone but it hasn't since i don't know after feb software update of this year, march if my verizon took it off or perhaps need new one i will have to figure this out when i verizon i guess

i just hope don't have to make some dumb appointment meh

i want to bump this very interesting so an hour ago i decided to reset network 2nd time i did this btw

and a few mins later i actually did see 5g come up then quickly went back down 4g then 5g vice versa

i wonder if 5g will actually be up when i'm in town again i don't know so it seems 5g is there

i don't know need new slim card and i'm still dumbfounded why i recently talk to tech some women said i was on 4g plan<-i thought when guy activated my phone before christmas last year walmart upgrade s7 i was already on 5g plan i guess i'm not

i guess that might be due to when i'm at home wifi 5g would had drop down 4g and go back forth after i did that 5g national wide update

do you guys think when i 1st did reset network back on jan 4th it mess up 5g part trying to figure out why it drop to 4g that why never came up in town afterwards perhaps i shouldn't had done it

i really don't know what to say now i am planning on 1st try to type something up go walmart give person i hope tues before hassle with verizon<-right now i see it on 4g 4 am in morning i think its now switching back and forth like it used to be i believe i just saw 5g then went back 4g

what do you guys is the real issue is it due to me needing to get new slim card and also be on 5g plan<-which i thought i was always on it never happen
