So I just got the new Note 20 Ultra and as soon as I got it up and going I wanted to test the new 5g speed. Well to my disappointment I am only getting like 9mb down and 2mb up. When I connect my old samsung note 10 to the same line I get like 40down and 3up on the LTE connection. Is anyone else having the same issue on 5g with TMobile.

I don't have 5g in my home town, so it's not usually an issue. Haven't seen 5g with my note 20 so I'm not sure if its the same as my s20. With tmobiles track record in my area I don't expect to see 5g till the roll out of 7g.

Received my Note 20 Ultra today and I have the exact same experience unfortunately. My older phone gets 50 to 60mbps speeds in 4g and the ultra searches for a server for a long time and then the speed is just 2 mbps every time.

Yeah something weird going on. Tested on Note 20 Ultra and iPhone 11 pro max. Tested multiple times thru out the day and was consistently lower speeds compared to iPhone 11 Pro max and Pixel 4 XL.

Below are the speeds of US Unlocked Note 20 Ultra on T-Mobile.

Below are the speeds on iPhone 11 Pro Max, similar results with Google store unlocked Pixel 4 XL.

I have a friend that is working for a T-Mobile contractor and he can have as much overtime as he wants they are pushing to get their 5G out and running everwhere. I have it at the Jersey shore in some spots some are fast and some as fast as lte.

I'm still setting a bunch of things up on mine so I'm posting from my old phone over WiFi. Tested the Note 20 speeds early this morning and it pulled about 150 down and 40 up. My Note 10+ pulled about 13 down and 27 up last night. I'm pleased.

Wow, most of these aren't great numbers between having 4G LTE and 5G. I was expecting huge differences in speeds but I've never had Tmobile. I've had Sprint, ATT, and Verizon.
@bhatech you have the best numbers and I'd say you are spoiled! Where are you located?
