6.0.1 Marshmallow?

Haha, who knows, but I'm pretty fed up just waiting not only for this update months later, but still no March security update..

Motorola never committed to monthly security updates.

When was the last monthly security update? (I'm running an S5, but really am looking at the Pure for a new daily driver...)

We got the February update two days before that month was over. Still nothing for March. Moto can't commit to any form of updates if it's life depended on it.

If you want the monthly updates, go with Nexus.

I'm kind of shocked that the X Play got 6.0.1 before the Pure Edition/Style. You would think that the flagship Moto X phone would get the update first. At the same time, with Lenovo running the show, you can't really predict how they will run Motorola.

It could be leapfrogging, though. Did the X Play get the prior upgrade that the XPE got?

As part of the two percent on marshmallow and being on marshmallow since beginning of December, I don't think pure owners have anything to complain about

One of two scenarios here...(just my 2 cents)

1) the X Play had a serious bug that had to be addressed, so they pushed the update with the bug fix first....or...
2) there was no bugs, so it was an easy update, and the X Pure has a bug they need to work on, so it wasn't ready yet.

Either way, "Good things come to those who wait...Patience is a virtue my friends..."

This.

I'm coming from the idol 3 which is still on 5.0. Those guys and gals have all but given up on Marshmallow at his point. I'm loving life on 6.0.
