6.0 Marshmallow: Problems playing 1440P video

Anyone is getting the following video played fluently without it being stuck after few seconds while the sound is still playing? Make sure you set this video quality to 1440p.
There was no such problem with this video in Lollipop, apparently. Any chance factory reset will fix that?

I'm experiencing the same issue you are. I don't think a factory reset will solve it.

Is that issue specific to playing 1440P videos from YouTube?

I'm experiencing this issue when playing YouTube videos. It drove me crazy for about 15 minutes and then successfully realized the root of the issue. The bug is annoying, particularly since I haven't been able to find a fix for it other than to drop video down to 1080p.
