That's normal, but seamless updates also do the updating process in the background too. On mine, it downloaded in the background, but the update process happened during the reboot and took about 20 min.

They're absolutely atrocious withe their updates. When I had at&t, I forget which phone it was, but I got the update a good month and half maybe two after the previous also being the last to get it..
