Just wondering if anyone else has noticed some issues with notifications on the Moto 360 and the 6P?

It works great for me! But! For some reason my watch will not vibrate whenever a new email comes in for Gmail. It used to. I have factory reset the watch a couple times and it seems as if the same thing keeps happening. So I'm wondering if there is some sort of setting that is glitched out. Notifications are on via the Android Wear app, silent and do not disturb are both disabled. I am receiving all other notifications just fine, its only Gmail.

Any ideas?

I'm using cloud magic, and email notifications are a little hit and miss right now.

I have the 360 2015 edition and the 6P and my notifications hit the watch MOST of the time. No more or less than my previous phone (Note 3). It has never been 100% for me.

I have the LG g watch and I notice I have connection issues. Sometimes my watch is just completely disconnected for some reason and I have to restart it to get it connected again. Sometimes it says its connected but I get no notifications on the watch. Not sure if its the watch, phone, or marshmallow.

I'm going to chalk it up to being Marshmallow. It's still new and there has to be some bugs in it. It's just weird that it's gmail alone and nothing else.

I have the exact same set up as you OP, all my notifications come through properly, although from time to time I do have issues with the watch not connecting or receiving notifications. The AW team is aware of Marshmallow bugs (they've asked me to send them bug reports) so hopefully this will be fixed with AW 1.4

I'm on the original moto 360 and 6p and do notice sometimes Gmail notifications not coming through. They worked fine on my Droid turbo in lollipop. Marshmallow issue I assume.

Did you get this request sent to you from the AW team? Or did you contact them ?

I posted in a Google Product Forum on the issue a while back, and from there they contacted me. No response from them, hopefully my bug reports have done something :P

I had an LG G watch and just got the original Moto 360. I don't use it for email notifications, but my phone call and text message (Messenger) notifications come through just fine.

I have the 6P and 1st gen Moto 360 and have also noticed watch vibration stopped for some notifications. Can't really say when this started, but I'm pretty sure the watch was vibrating normally for notifications for the first couple weeks after pairing with the 6P.

Have any of you guys tried fiddling with the vibrate settings in apps? I re-enabled vibrations for Messenger and now my watches buzzes again with every notification (Which soon got very annoying again ). Also turn battery optimisation off for the AW app under Battery > Battery optimisation > optimised apps and change AW to off. This alleviated the issues I had with notifications and pairing for me...most of the time.

Hey thanks for that! I have not yet tried these suggestions yet. So did you just toggle vibrations on and then off in the messenger app? Was your Bluetooth on and AW watch connected during the toggle?

I disabled doze on AW so hopefully this alleviates any on going notification issues. Just an FYI, Gmail is pretty much the only app that does not vibrate on my Moto 360 (2015).

Using original 360 with a 6p. I get every single push notification on my watch, and my absolute reason for buying it, controlling Spotify, works flawlessly.

Admittedly I have gmail set to manual sync. And it's not pushing to me.

The notifications I'm getting are textra and Facebook messenger.

Yeah both were paired - once I enabled vibrations under the notification settings for Facebook Messenger, my watch started vibrating with notifications afterwards. I don't get many emails in my main inbox so I can't comment on the Gmail vibrations though
