I wanted to try out Google Cardboard so I bought one of the cardboard viewers. Unfortunately, it's too small to encapsulate the 6P. Are there any Cardboard viewers that fit the 6P?

I got one of the Star Wars version of Google Cardboard and it works fine with my 6P. Otherwise, I might suggest the Google Tech C1 viewer as it seems like phone size shouldn't be an issue with it, though it isn't enclosed so won't provide the dark environment.

Mattel ViewFinder works great, nostalgic and is cheap.

^+1 fits the Nexus 6P quite well. I just wish i had a head strap because compared to the original cardboard it is pretty bulky.. but with that being said, really good quality. Also, I got mine heavily discounted but I probably wouldn't pay retail for it if I had to. It makes a great conversation piece on my coffee table at home haha.

Will the Mattel ViewFinder work with any of the Cardboard type apps or will it only work with the Mattel discs? Amazon has it for $17. I'm down with that as long as it works just like the cardboard version.

It works with the Mattel disks but also Google Cardboard. And any other VR apps not proprietary to another type of VR.

I just got a Google Cardboard, the regular one. It fits the 6P no problem.

I bought this one, from Amazon It was super cheap... Granted it is super cheap quality, but I just basically wanted something that was a little more durable than an actual piece of cardboard and something that had a head strap. So for less than $20 this one did the trick nicely. It works really well with the 6P. In fact the 6P fits inside like it so well it's almost like it was made for it.

I apologize for the crappy picture quality, my Nexus 7 was the only other thing I had handy to take the picture.
