Like the title says 7.0 should be dropping Monday sometime. ;) Sending my note 7 back the second I get it tomorrow. I can't downgrade to that phone.

Why would you buy a phone just to send it back when it arrives?

I'm ready for it. I haven't tried any of the betas so it will be new to me.

Just a reminder for people not to expect Nougat to be pushed to their phones tomorrow. Even if Nougat is released tomorrow, it will be a staggered release from Google, like all their updates, so it could be two weeks before your phone gets the upgrade.

Of course, the factory builds may be available tomorrow. A good argument can be made that it is better to download the build and do a clean install.

Nexus phones will get immediate updates?

Nexus phones will get immediate updates?

No. It's just like regular updates that are randomly rolled out in batches. So, if tomorrow's the official release date, some nexus devices will get it, others will get it later in the next few weeks.

You can't downgrade to that phone? So why did you buy it to start with?

Being on Nexus devices since KitKat, I expect it to be rolled out OTA via some PhoneID (MAC address maybe or first time registry), so it will pop up seemingly randomly on Nexus devices all over the world - as happened in the past with all the updates.
I bought my 6P this year (April), so I don't expect my update soon.
Whatever. I can wait.

Bought mine in June and I can also wait. I am still very pleased with my 6P running 6.0.1, plus N visually looks the exact same as M to me from videos I've watched.

Why? Even people on the Developer Previews got a staged rollout when the later DPs landed.

Actually, as soon as Google released the next DP, all I did was hit the update button and within a minute it was available to download. I've not see that being the case with non developer previews though.
