Does anyone know if I can join the beta program with a rooted and rom'd phone or do I need to go back stock again?

I mean the final release of Nougat is stable. However, in my opinion, doesn't seem any more stable than developer preview 5 but I suppose that's good to know as well. gain, I just wish that Google would've actually brought back the manual exposure settings for the camera. Other than that, I can't complain.

All you need to do to get the update is enroll for the Beta Program here:

https://www.google.com/android/beta?u=0

Once you do, you'll get the OTA immediately, and then you can un-enroll if you no longer want to be in the beta program. I just did it and I got the OTA right away.

Yep, the enrolling in the beta gets u quick update invite. How is Nougat treating everyone?Is it true if you have a Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge you will get Nougat in February 2018?

I just joined the beta program, downloaded it and 56% into the install the phone restarted and no nougat. what do I do now?

I just did the enroll in to beta program method, literally came up after I enrolled my device. Has anyone unenrolled yet?

So far, Nougat is running great. Seems snappier.

Yes, unenroll and N will stay. No issues. Done that on 2 devices.

same thing happened to me. I just unenroll and reenroll again. got another update notification download and reinstall. second time instalation was a success.

No root. Just enroll, you can unenroll when done.

Like others, I enrolled, d/l'ed the OTA then unenrolled. Still have Nugent (7.0). No problems.

Nope, mine not there. I'm not an android newbie. It's just simply not there upgrading from M. SUCKS.

Theres now an App in Google Play called Night Mode enabler, it does actually work ( might need to toggle it a few times to get the quick settings switch)
