7" -10" Recommendation ready to buy!

Hey All,

I'm looking for some fairly simple solution with minimal requirements. So far I've done loads of research and to be honest the more I do the more it sets me back. I'm looking for some hands on suggestions so I can get this purchase out of the way.

Requirements:

7" - 10" Display ( Partial to the 7 )
Display 1280x800 Minimum
HDMI or Equivalent output
micro USB connection ( not required but I dislike proprietary cables )
Front & Rear camera

I own two different OTG adapters micro 5 in 1's from my old Nexus 7 1st gen. Would be nice to have something I can use them with. I started to run into a need for HDMI output and a front camera so my Nexus 7 no longer cuts it.

Any suggestions I'd love to hear and greatly appreciate it.

I currently use the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and I love it. Super thin, superb screen, fluid, speedy, and lasts all day long. If the 10.5" screen size is too much, there's an 8-inch version that should, in theory, provide a similar experience (plus a better screen, since the resolution is the same as the 10.5 but in a smaller area, so more PPI).

Take a look at the Nvidia Shield tablet. It meets all your requirements. I have one myself and like it quite a bit.

This. Agree. I like to think of the NVIDIA Shield Tablet as a sort of Nexus 7 2014. Still the same form and screen size, but much more powerful!
