I've made. HTC ONE just about seven months now and I'm thinking of giving it a factory reset to just clear out a lot of rubbish. I'm just wondering What's the best way to backup apps photos videos etc

You could backup all the personal stuff like photos and videos to your computer via USB cable. Apps installed via Google playstore are synced with your Google account (check sync settings) and you can automatically let playsfore download and install your previous apps you were using. Apps from other stores can be backupped via titanium backup and uploaded to Dropbox.

What I do when I reset my phone is just start from the beginning and just download the apps I always used and Photos and videos from the computer backup. I don't restore settings and apps from other stores etc. Via backup apps.
