What does RTN stand for?

I believe it's Return, but it's the menu that you can use to see information about your device, such as total number of calls made inbound and outbound, recondition status, etc. They hide this menu because it has some choices that can seriously mess up a device for inexperienced users.

It doesn't let me select anything; it just shows me info.

I haven't played with it on a stock Gnex (not sure if you're stock or not, but I never have been other than out of the box until an hour or two later). On some devices there is a way to do a factory reset, a data reset, etc. from within there. It might not be that way on a nexus because of the ease of accessing the boot loader... sorry, I'm not 100% sure about it on this device. It's more of a menu for the companies to deal with instead of people trying to troubleshoot. On my current device this menu doesn't even come up when inputting the code for it.

Interesting. Engine hours.
3016 hours 36 minutes of calls. Lol
