this morning I woke up my phone was 100%, after an hour i went out to work, my phone's battery dropped to 33%. I was shocked! Because this is abnormal. My phone was quite alright yesterday (full battery could be used 1 day +) and i didn't update or install any applications.

i checked the android system, it was only on for 6 minutes, so it shouldn't be using that much of battery.

what happened to my phone?

Welcome to the forums!

It's hard to tell what the problem was from the one data point that you included. Sounds like you had a runaway process, and rebooting the phone would have taken care of that.

It's also possible that you had a weak Mobile data signal, which would go through power like the proverbial hot knife through butter. You could use something like SignalCheck Lite http://market.android.com/details?id=com.blueline.signalchecklite to monitor the various signal qualities (cellular, mobile data, Wi-Fi) and see if any of those are responsible for your battery behavior.

that's what I'm thinking as well. Because before it went crazy, a whole day work (8hour, no game play, only using a instant messaging chatting app) would only cost me about 40% battery, but today it suddenly becomes like this, I wouldn't consider it's caused by an old battery problem.

I turned Flight mode on, turned off the phone and took out the battery, waited for 30s and put back in. the battery percentage suddenly increased from 21% to 35%. And now I'm charging with the Flight mode on. Let's see if it would be better

check this out Guys, Solution works for me

i install cm 11 for my neo v..bu battery drain fast...when i fully charged 100% at night...when i got up morning it's 70% battery standby

SO here is the sloution

connect your charger to phone

then off the phone with out removing the charger

(then phone automatically charging)

then again on the phone with out removing the charger

and let it to be charged 100%

then see the battery works fine

it's work for me....
