8GB vs 6GB- Anyone notice a difference

Does cache get reported in the usage numbers? I definitely see a difference between Note 8 6GB and S8+ with 4.

What do you mean by "By the time this much RAM matters you will be well on past the Note 9"?

Meaning by the time applications actually need 6-8gb ram the Note 9 will be old news and you will be using a different device. We are a good few years away from it. Updating spec year over year helps sell devices - processors and camera tech we absolutely notice, especially camera tech, but RAM? Not so much yet. 6-8 GB of ram is nice but applications simply do not require it at this stage.

Are you an App Developer may I ask ?

My thoughts are this extra Ram will allow my Note 9 to have more open apps etc without them reloading / refreshing.

I am not personally an App Developer but one of my close friends is and has developed a few widely popular apps on the platform. I won't say what they are but you have all heard of them. Your Note 9 does not need 6-8gb of RAM to have more open apps without having to reload/refresh.
