9+ issue after update

No matter what I do, it keeps going back to the minimized floating multi windows. It's driving me INSANE. I mainly use emy table for sheet music software and I WANT full-screen.

It also means that it keeps defaulting to the Taskbar as well, which I don't want either.

I've deselected all the multi window options and I can get what I want after a reboot, but but I drag down for a notification it defaults back to it.

Any ideas?

PS. It also wouldn't let me into developer mode as it says I'm in multi window. I got into DM by rebooting and getting into it first. Hoping I can get the settings to stick by turning off free-form?

Can you post a screenshot of this happening? Just block any personal information.

I don't know the answer, but I too, hate the new floating windows.
I'm very careful when I open a new window or tab.

I do believe I got it switched off!!

I rebooted, which took it back to my preferred settings. That also let me get into dev options, where I could switch off "freeform windows" (I don't even remember now where I read to try that, but God love whoever posted it!!)

I've had 3 days now where my preferred settings stuck and I didn't accidentally activate the mini windows when I pulled down to check a notification. Yay!!!!
