901F PIT file on 900f?

Need one for EE UK and the only one that can be found is for the 901F Would this work?

No! The SM-G901F is a completely different phone to the SM-G900F. You should never, ever, play around with .PIT files unless you know precisely what you are doing. I have seen too many people render their phones unusable by doing so. That is why you should not check the, "Re-partition", box in Odin. In the normal course of events, flashing a stock Samsung firmware, should not need this to be altered.

I do not want to flash stock, I want to flash a carrier firmware which fails without PIT, hidden.img.ext4 FAIL

A carrier firmware, issued by Samsung, is a, "stock", firmware, as opposed to AT&T or Verizon, that are hybrid carrier variants that are not issued by Samsung or a custom ROM. If you are re-flashing a stock firmware to cure, say, a bad OTA update, you should not need to change the .PIT file. .PIT files are model and firmware sensitive. The fact that you are receiving that message in Odin, would seem to indicate that you have either checked the, "Re-partition", box in the past, whilst flashing, or have flashed a firmware that was not intended for your phone or flashed a custom ROM or even have a bad firmware download. Without knowing more precise details about your model and original firmware version, as per #1.2 and #1.8 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide, and what you have done to the phone subsequently, it is impossible for me to comment further.

As I mentioned on another thread, the phone was originally on EE UK, It came with EVR firmware. I flashed stock BTU firmware fine, but now I want to back to EVR the phone will not take any EVR firmware, takes stock fine but not EVR. Tried all from 4.4.2 up to 5.0

CSC code EVR firmware is stock Samsung firmware for the U.K. carrier EE. CSC code BTU is stock Samsung firmware for the U.K. unbranded model. Both the .PIT files are compatible. Providing that BTU works, then EVR should do so, also unless you have a bad or corrupt download for EVR. The latest firmware for the model, SM-G900F on EE is OBK. Here are 2 download sources for the stock EE firmware in case one or the other is corrupt...

Try downloading, (or re-downloading), one or both and flash them via Odin by following the links and video in #1.11 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide.

My bad. The latest firmware for EVR is OBK and not NL9. I was looking at the wrong page. I have corrected the above post.

OK downloading again, I have tried ANG2, BNL9 & POBK before, all work fine until the very end then hidden.img.ext4 FAIL. Now at this stage if I reboot the phone and flash CWM it boots fine however the CSC is missing even though the I am running the EVR firmware and as such there is no EE apps or VoWiFi option. All very odd. I know of another person who bought a stock 900f and flashed the EVR firmware fine, and the fact mine was on EVR originally is more baffling.

So, both the firmware downloads I posted earlier are returning the same error from Odin?

It seems strange that you can flash all those stock unbranded firmwares with no problem and yet the stock EVR firmware from both sources, gives you that error. As a stop gap measure you could stay on the unbranded OC7 update which is a lot more recent than your carrier's.

EVR has VoWiFi calling and I have crap signal at home so would like EVR, I have POBK on my phone and booting using Philz recovery however the CSC code is still set to BTU, How do I change it to EVR? None of the apps seems to work

yes i need 900f pit file only

.PIT files are model and firmware specific and flashing the wrong one can brick your phone. Flashing these are for competent users only. Proceed with caution. These are not normally needed when flashing stock firmware or custom ROM's.

You will need to search for the .PIT file for your firmware version as per #1.8 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide
