do we install this in recovery like an update? If not how do we use this?

Just put your phone in USB Debugging mode (Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging). Then plug it up to your computer and make sure you have the latest drivers for the phone installed. Then run the run.bat file.

This is first forum I started using when I rooted my fascinate. So I am glad I could be of help. By the way the missing 3G problem seems to be alleviated with recent update. Every time I look at the phone I seem to have 3G . Good luck to everyone.

so i recently got the bionic, and today i decided to root. I used the motofail method. i am running .902 and i am running into some problems that i have never ran into before when rooting my phones. Whenever i try to boot into recovery nothing happens, the phone simply just restarts. also when i use rom manager to try and get to CWM i cant even reboot into recovery from there, it just restarts my phone. I have root access because i did a titanium back up before and i have superuser. I dont know if i am missing something or if there is something wrong with my phone. Please help as i would like to be able to flash some roms ..

I was forever rooted, got the update this morning. installed and still rooted.

I was able to root my never rooted Bionic .902 with no issues. I downloaded the Motorola drivers from the previous method and then followed this method. Thank you very much to the developer and all the members.
