95% of my display stops working

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. All of a sudden, 95% of my display stops working. I can tell phone itself is working. No prior problems with phone. I can see the carrier's name, wifi signal, cell reception indicator, etc, at very top of screen. However, all rest of screen is blank. Powering off and on does no good. Carrier says can't help. No solutions yet found online. Any thoughts - is this fixable?

Probably going need a repair shop , see if its worth fixing.
