955u and 955fd compatibility

[Android Central Question]

does anyone know if s8 plus 955fd will fit in my 955u housing and lcd, i spoilt my phone and i need a new board but if the fd fits i want to know if i could replace my 955u with a 955fd board can anyone please assist because i really want to get back my phone, i put my phone down on a portable speaker overnight and now my lcd just shows white except the always on display which shows normal
