So I'll have to wait until I get one in my hands, but the price point and the features have me foaming at the mouth. I think that since I want a tablet to take gaming away from my phone, this size will be perfect. Not so huge and bulky like the 10" varieties, but bigger than my phone. I think I'll head over to Best Buy and look at the Kindle Fire to get a size comparison, but if there was a preorder button right now I would probably click on it.

I have looked carefully, especially between the Thrive 7 and the Galaxy Tab+ and finding even though these are among the better 7" tablets they each have there own weaknesses to wrestle with. With the showing of the Asus Eee Pad Memo 370T at the 2012 CES I was thoroughly impressed. Finally my search to find the best screen, battery life, full android market, together all at a good price may finally be realized. The Asus 370T seems to meet the marriage needs between all the current ebooks and tablets. It has the price of a good ebook reader but the screen resolution, all the ports, the battery life and reputation of a winner. Its only compromise seems to be that it has no rear flash and no front camera, if you can live with this then one may have just found the 7" tablet one has been looking for. There will always be another tablet coming around the corner, but this one may really be enough to make one really stop to take a look, and be satisfied with, especially if this tablet ends up being as shown at CES. Yes, if there was a buy button this would be mine.

Same here. F kindle fire. jk but, serious abt the memo. Never really wanted a tablet before (have a laptop), but this is looking just right for specs, size, and price.

i will be adding this into my lineup. i think ill have to get a kindle to hold me over until this baby is avaiable.

i thought about getting the fire bc the price is right.. but it's being limited to amazon app store forced me to reconsider.

and the overall bugginess of the fire is just not worth it for me.

as i have a laptop and a galaxy nexus, i really dont need a tablet, just planning to get the memo for fun, so i want the nice screen and the tegra and ics to make it worth shelling out the loot.

just my 2

enjoy the kindle if ya get it!

This will be my fourth. Had a viewsonic gtab and rooted the heck out of it. Then sold it. Then got the acer iconia 500 and that was a nice tablet just wanted something smaller like I had with the nook color which I gave to my mom. Traded the iconia with a buddy of mine for some nice couches. Def can't wait for this bad boy

My wife recently decided that she REALLY wants a Kindle fire. So i decided to look into all the options and have decided that since I get to pick out a new toy, that this will be it. Along with the VAP430 from Vizio that will be coming out soon, I will have enough toys to go with my Hava streamer (which I use there Vulkano app for) and CloudStor unit (which uses the Pogoplug app) for a good while.

I just dont want to be stuck with the amazon app store.

And would rather have some updated specs at the right price when this new wave of tablets comes.

I agree Zero! I too am holding out until that perfect little device comes on out. I think this will do its trick to be honest. Right size, price point and just enough hardware to turn my head!

Didn't they just announce that the Memo 370t will be cancelled and replaced with a dual-core alternative? I believe the reasoning is that Google wants the newest Nexus tablet to compete with the Kindle Fire.

Kind of a rumor right now, I am not giving up on the 730T until ASUS announces its canceling it or downgrading it to a consumption device.

I hope this is not true. I was reading that they took away some of its space to make it cheaper. I guess the rumors will start until its released date!

I really hope it's just a rumor too. I'm really looking forward to checking out the Memo 370t prior to making a decision.

Same here! I mean it can have the Google branded providing it's the right CPU for me. Either way in a few months maybe we will have more of an idea what way Asus is going with it.
