$99 @ VZW Online

OK I'm one day off (March 1st)and was told they can't so nothing about it. So I will need to pay 199.99 for this phone. Just BS if you ask me. Really fed up with verizon.

I tried 3 times and all said the same thing. I'm gonna wait now to get the new HTC one X when it's released. I just can't see spending 200 bucks for a phone when the new one will be around the same price.

I went into the verizon store to test drive the rezound and they gave me the $99 online price in the store. Sweet deal didn't have to wait for shipping

That is crap. Did you ask to talk to the supervisor/manager? That almost always works for me and since your contract is ending you can (kindly and politely) vent your disappointment with Verizon to the manager and 'threaten' to leave Verizon to see if that helps your case.

Well, horse sh!t ! I just ordered mine yesterday, for $150 (had xtra discount). I called them about a price match, which they said they could do, but I would have to return my phone (which is still in the mail) and reorder the new one. I'd normally do this, but I'm kinda in a bind and need it asap. They were able to give me a $30 discount dropping mine down to $120.

To think I could've had one for $50 is frustrating, but hell, Im happy with $120, considering that in the stores around here they are still charging $300.

Either way, I'm stoked about getting this phone!

Honestly it's all a game it's our job to try and beat them. Just need to find the weakest salesman.

I can't vouch for people but keep in mind. Corporate is rigid in their retail policies. Whereas, most authorized(3rd party) retailers signed on with them are not. They have wiggle room in that area.

That could be my problem... I only deal with corporate stores.

Got my Rezound last year. Paid the bigger price. Great phone. With extended battery, runs all day. Got 2 of those ext. Batteries plus battery charger. (road warrior, I confess)

What really amazes me is price blowout coming - what - 120 days after it was full price premium device? Now THAT sure is a FAST cycle to me. Are phones becoming like fashion apparel?

Price is going back up at the end of February I was told to 199.99.

I waited less than 2 weeks after its release to get the Rezound for $ 50 on upgrade.

Touche! Haha, guess I'm just touchy in the mornings Overlooked the sarcasm I guess. Anyways, thanks for shakin me by the shoulders, no hard feelings.

Anyhow, extremely pleased with the Rezound. I see all the posts about terrible battery life, but I actually find it manageable. It's on par with about how long my dinc lasted, so I see no reason to complain. Now, if only I lived remotely close to 4g service, then I'd be a real happy camper.
