What I'm looking for is what my old Blackberry or BB Calendar provided. If a notice of an alarm or appt happens while I'm busy or the phone is elsewhere, when I do finally open the phone the NOTICE is front and center. That way as soon as I wake the phone and see the screen, the notice is there and I can dismiss it or snooze it or maybe even edit it. I don't want the appt or alarm hidden in a pull down list of notifications. I want to be CONFRONTED with it and have to react then and there.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

What have you tried?

Well, the BB Calendar and, I believe Business Calendar. Unless I've got them setup wrong (quite possible), they don't leave anything showing if I don't, as it were, "catch them in the act" of throwing up the alert.

Thanks for replying.

Sharing in the event it may help. I'm using the Pixel Launcher and it has the Calendar/Weather widget. I just created a Test event, and on the home screen the widget shows "Test now" and "08:52 - 09:22" under "Test Now". I can see the calendar event on my home screen.

I too wish a BlackBerry mobile was still an option.

Huh (a positive HUH, like strikes forehead) - I think you may have found a solution. I see a few "calendar" widgets but there's also Google's "At a glance" widget which might be more compact but might only show ONE event. I might try adding it/them to each of my home pages so that it shows up.

I will play around.

THANKS.

re: BB, someone posted that someone may have gotten that new Cyberpunk running on a KeyOne (which is somewhere around here!). Not that I play games (other than Word ZigZag which I had on my Playbook and have ported forward to this day).
