Nope, just an app to customize the side panel but it looks pretty sweet

Ok I am now pretty much sold on the edge. I was worried that just the slightest touch with my huge hands would activate it but the features it now has look impressive and will only get better when third party apps get on board

Yes, it is an option that can be turned on in the display settings.

Yea the new edge features look exciting. I really loved the note edge and then they took all the features away for the S6 series.

FYI, I was at BestBuy today and they had the demo units in the Samsung section. I did confirm the night clock and IMHO the phone looked amazing.
