A couple of questions - Verizon LG G3

While not new to Android, I picked up a LG G3 for the Red Devil and playing around with it. I noticed the buttons show up when the keyboard comes up - is this something that can be turned off? The device is totally stock. You can't see it very well in the attached screenshot but they are driving me crazy.


I also was using Dock Clock, but I get the same bar and it will not dim. Anyone using something else?

Thoughts about the LG keyboard versus SwiftKey?

Settings>display>home touch buttons>hide home touch buttons.

You can use that to hide them in any app you want, and then simply slide your thumb up from the bottom of the screen to get them to show up when you need them.

SwiftKey > LG keyboard, but Google keyboard eats both of their lunches, in my opinion
