I just got an LG G watch and I'm trying to figure out how to integrate it into my life. I keep hearing about people getting a lot out of their watches, but up until now I've frankly only been using the watch and the occasional voice command.
I find that the Google cards are often superfluous to my situation (I don't want the same cards o get on my phone and there appears to be no way of distinguishing between the two)
The cards are also completely out of order for me. I have to scroll past 5-6 bs cards in the morning about buses or how ling I walked the day before before I can see the weather.
There are few apps and most of the ones I've tried are crap.
Take Moovit for example which is supposed to use my GPS location to let me know about public transportation and arrival times. On the phone I've limited the app to just showing me the subway ( because that is all I take) bit opening the app on the phone shows me every effing bus route which takes up all the card slots so I can't even see the metro!
When I launch the app via a voice command it opens it on the phone instead, so I am forced to open the app manually.
Notifications for messages are nice, but it only shows me 15 words before i have to start scrolling.
I really want to make better use of my watch. What shops am I missing out on? Are there any settings that can solve some of the issues I described above?
Any help is appreciated!
