A few tips & tricks for your S5

Alright so I've has my S5 for a month now and I've been using an Otterbox commuter series case. I'm coming from an HTC Incredible 4GLTE and the case had a kick stand. I don't want that dumb clip on my case so I got the regular one. But I figured out a way to make it into a kickstand.

All you need to do is take the hard shell off and then whatever side you want as the top slip the that side into half of the shell leaving it at an angle so it acts as a kickstand.

The second is with the finger print scanner. In a case it is more difficult to use but certainly is possible and works well.

I personally use my thumb. I find it awkward to unlock my phone two handed with a finger.

When registering a finger print, register the same finger or thumb in all 3 slots. But do so holding the phone slightly different each time so more of your thumb or finger is registered. You do not need to swipe the whole pad, j use a small amount. More is more likely secure, but it also seems to be much more finicky and more frustrating than reliable.

Hope these help.

Cool, except I own the Active. No case because it has one built in, and no fingerprint scanner. I would deactivate it anyway. My sensitive data in encrypted and pass code blocked, So my phone is swipe to unlock. But those are good tips, thanks for sharing...
