I just read the Forbes news article this morning regarding the pricing on the S8 and the s8plus. According to the article the s8plus would come in at $949 which I am now rather hesitant about moving forward with. I am a die-hard note fan and would probably consider paying that range for the note but not so sure about the s8plus

IMO they've got a bit of explaining to do for every dollar over the $870 of the 128 GB iPhone 7+. I'm not opposed to them being higher, but needs to be justified.

If that price is true I'm definitely going to be combing through the specs and comparing them directly to what the Note 7 had to offer the Note 7 was 850 and it was absolutely incredible

It would probably be justified if the s8plus turned out to be the Note 8 LOL

I tend to think these rumors won't be true. Perhaps they heard pricing in a non US market and are trying to do currency conversions. The people are Samsung are smart and they will price it at or below the middle memory (128gb) iPhone 7 Plus. I predict $850.

This will be my last phone for a long time, i would like to see a price point around $850 but who knows. I loved the Note 7 i had (did not use the pen much though) so i am really wanting this S8+ to work out.

Does anyone truly believe the Note 8 will be priced lower than any S8? Oh, please!
The note line has never been priced lower then the S line, don't see that trend changing now. the current trend is prices going up and up and will continue to do so untill people stop paying that price.

I don't know if I could pay that amount...especially coming from an S7 edge. I hope that there is chance that the price is just rumor and the actual price is more in line with the previous year.

If Samsung prices customers out of their new device, they'll be pushing people towards the cheaper LG. Not a good idea. We'll know in another day and a half

I I'd have a v20 in a second if they had a Samsung pay ability

Pixel XL 2 might be in my future if Samsung does not control it's prices.

**** UPDATE: You should really read the prices on the S8+.... $899 is the 64G version.

I had only read the one article early this a.m. expecting the pricing in the mid 900's. 899...have to see those dimensions.

Dimensions... see below... I have a Nexus 6P... basically a BIG phone, and I have been using that for over a year now.... I'm ok with dimensions.
