Just returned from watching a RS employee giving small shows on the EVO features.
There were many folk (customers) the very well versed and studied on the ways of the EVO. We were all there to actually touch and meander thru the screens/features first hand.
The employee would let you hold it for a sec and then say "Let me show you this". People were telling her politely to back off and let them validate n confirm the things they'd seen online n videos. The employee ignored their gestures and continued to show wow tricks to people that already knew the wow trick.
The RS employee meant well...but acted as if she was "allowing" customers to touch something that belonged to her.
Please don't start with the "maybe her boss told her to keep an eye on it and be helpful to customers" speech...a demo is meant to be touched and experienced, if the customers were unsure or in need...cool I'll by that; but in this case, she misread the whole scene.
Her heart was in the right place, but her eyes and ears were not in tune with meeting the customers needs.
