Basically at the moment I've just rooted the phone to do backups, unfortunately I haven't found any good solutions...
When I look for the big named backup solution (nandroid) the only way I can find it is included in the Clockwork Mod installer; however when I install that it doesn't appear to be compatible with the Optimus yet - and I'd hesitate on using it. I know I can do a custom recovery to get a backup, but considering forgetting a line can mess everything up I'd rather not do it myself (it's the sort of mistake I'd make) - I want to keep my phone safe, not brick it.
I've tried Titanium backup; it just backs up the apps.
I've tried Sprite Mechanic (Sprite backup costs money and I refuse to buy an app before trying it), and it crashes on restore.
So my question is - if I want to do a full backup on the Optimus, how can I without ruining my phone?
