I bought a Samsung Galaxy S 22 Ultra from Amazon Renewed that was listed as Refurbished Excellent and when it gets to %5 it will last less than 5 minutes. Is this a sign of a worn out battery that may start to have shorter and shorter run time? It seems to long run time before %5 and will last longer than my Galaxy Note 9 I got on E-bay 5 years ago but even it will last much longer than 5 minutes once it gets to %5 or less.

On the Galaxy S 22 Ultra the battery information page says a full charge will last about 15 hours. On my A15 5G which I got new from Spectrum Wireless says it will last about 2 days 2 hours.

Why the big difference ?

Both phones list the battery as a 5000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S 22 Ultra is in excellent cosmetic shape, the screen has maybe very minor un noticeable scratches on the screen just 2 to be exact, no hint of even minor screen burn in and no dead pixels, even the back is in great cosmetic shape, the only possible issue is the area around the charging port is a bit scratched but the port it's self seems fine and is not loose and if I wiggle the cord it does not cause phone to stop charging so there appears to be no excessive wear to the phone.

5% without power save mode will die fast it's done that all my Samsungs over the years.

As for the battery lasting longer so many things at play here

A15 is 1 or more year newer
S23u is refurbished
The s22u has a better screen that will draw more power and bigger

Both are just set-up new give it 2 weeks to learn usage and settle in then test both at the same usage like both have a sim card in it or one is always on Wi-Fi would not be a fair comparison as not using the same way ..things to consider and test
