Yes. Another BB user. I've gone from Storm to Storm2. Not a basher. I've never had any problems of any significance with either phone. They basically do what they are supposed to do. I go weeks without a battery pull, etc. But, I'm ready for something new....something that can do much more. The Incredible seems to be the ticket since I have to stay with Verizon for reception concerns.

Now to the problem and an admittedly longshot hope. I'm not eligible for an upgrade for fourteen months. I have no intention of paying $550 for any phone. My best hope is a BOGO where I can coattail with friends who also want the phone and are eligible.

I haven't paid attention to Verizon's practices. Any hope for a BOGO on the Incredible, a phone popular and apparently in short supply, any time soon?

I now hang my head awaiting the inevitable..."No, are you nuts" replies.

No. If you're going to try and "work" the system, you've got to atleast know how it work's jr.

In more depth. Their is no bogo deal for one, and you will not see one for ALONG time on the incredible. They truthfull don't need any incentive for people to buy them, as they can't even keep them in stock. They are back logged up to their chest.

Not only that, but BOGO only works on 2 yr agreement's. Meaning your home boy doesn't go into a store, start a new line and they hand him a second phone for free. Both lines have to be elgible, and some rep's won't even do it if they are on different account's.

One idea is to pay the $529 retail price, and then sell your storm2 on Ebay. Some dumbass is bound to buy it. It sure is worth it.

I expected the "won't see it for a long time". As to the other, current Verizon customers eligible to upgrade. Two years not a problem. No new line. Perhaps that rules out me putting the second phone, if such a situation where to happen, on my account. I don't know exactly how a BOGO works since I've not done it before.

Hey....don't fault me for trying to get my hands on the phone while paying a fair but not indecent price.
