a macro to switch between day/night mode for maps more quickly?

I am frequently back and forth between two different family vehicles. In one of my vehicles, automatic day/night mode works great. In the other vehicle, it is completely broken, so I always have to manually set it. (day mode is just too bright when I drive at night).

To avoid having to dig through the AA menus each time, I thought it might be handy to create a macro or automation which sets day/night mode to DAY when dark mode is off, and NIGHT when dark mode is on. This would be super easy to do since it's very easy to toggle dark mode.

Or, it doesn't necessarily have to be tied to dark mode, if that is too tricky. Could just be a one- button press which toggles the mode to avoid having to dig through menus each time.

Any ideas how to do something like this using an automation app?

The only option which will work for you is to change the mode in day/night settings manually. This is the fastest way rather than using a macro.
