A PDF reader that does everything

Hi there

I have recently started further my studying and I have found my self in a very frustrating situation. I have a tablet and also my PC. I tend to use the highlight tool a lot in adobe reader, every time I swap devices to continue my research I need to move the pdf to the device I want to work on.

I know adobe has a cloud solution which I am having a problem with (I am busy resolving the problem with them) but I think even if I start using it it might still not cater for my needs

See I live in a country where we have more pot holes then road. What I am getting to is our data rates are expensive for cellular devices i.e. tablets. I am scared that every time I want to open one of my books everything would download from cloud which is about 400Mb every time I would use it.

I just want the program to recognize the changes and update the copy that is on my PC or tablet instead of downloading everything again. Is there an app like that, is adobe like that ?

An app that when you make a change on the tablet it's seen on the PC? Not without some connection between them, and that's called a data connection, which you want to get away from. An app can't "recognize" the changes you make on another device if there's no connection between them. (And even then, something like that is difficult - if you make a change on the tablet, then make a different change on the PC, which version gets saved? Unless while you're working on the file in one device, you can't work on it in the other device. It's an old problem with multiple user access in databases.)

About the only non-data-connection way of doing it is to connect the tablet to the PC by cable and transfer the file back and forth (or set up a wifi router in your house if you don't already have one and transfer it by wifi, which is free).
