Trade In Question

The S25U is available to trade for the incoming ZF7. But the Z6 is not available to trade for the S25U. It seems like newest S Series can be traded for incoming Fold, but new Fold can't be traded for incoming S Series. (I hope I'm making sense)

Will the ZF7 be an available trade for the S26U? I'm new to the Fold game and was wondering how long I'd be 'forced' to use the Fold if I don't love it.

Probably some error on Samsung part… because earlier this year, I entertained the thought of trading in the ZF6 for the S25U and the option was available. I think trade in value was around $600 for the ZF6 at the time, so yeah… you’ll be able to trade in the ZF7 for the upcoming S26U when released.

I can't say for sure but trade-ins are based on anticipated numbers. At the time of pre-order for the S25U, the ZF6 most likely was an option.

Currently, the ZF6 is a trade-in option for the ZF7 but it's still in preordering phase, and Samsung may anticipate getting enough ZF6 trade-ins from people buying the 7 that they removed it as an option for other models, especially those that have already been out for 6 months and probably sold the bulk of units they're going to move at that point.

I'm thinking the same. Hold on to my S25U. Although I promised myself I wouldn't, I went to BB to check it out. Idk if I can live with it. It's a "cool" device, but not one I want to use exclusively. Maybe next gen if they have the S Pen situation figured out.

I always suggest hold on to your phone for 10 days if you can, once you send that trade in you ain't getting it back. It always seems like everybody's in a race to see who can get their phone accepted first.

The biggest hates about the Last fold I had was thickness, smaller outer screen and Camera.

I can deal with battery life, I can charge all day and when I am out with a $30 magsafe battery bank, I have 3 already...LOL

Lol, did you go thru the note 7 ordeal? I can't help but think about that a little here. Same size battery in thinner body phone. Note 7 battery issue was battery in to small of a place. Not to mention we are talking the same number '7'.

I'm holding onto my fold 6 as long as I can, I might even ask for an extension.

Lol, did you go thru the note 7 ordeal? I can't help but think about that a little here. Same size battery in thinner body phone. Note 7 battery issue was battery in to small of a place. Not to mention we are talking the same number '7'.

I believe this has to do with the device is a greater value. That is why this option is not available.
