love the samsung galaxy tab 10.1, but so does my family. thinking of getting another tablet so leaning toward the asus transformer+keyboard. the screen on the SGT is awesome and the transformer is the closest one to it, plus it has ports. the price+keyboard is awesome compared to 32gb tab.

thoughts?

If that's your first instinct go for it! If you don't like it you can always exchange it for a GT.

Just a suggestion, don't flame, but if you've got the $$ for 2 tabs I would get a SGT 10.1 and an iPad2. You can literally have it all.

The big issue I would see with that would be that you'd have to re-purchase all of you favorite apps. If you stick with Android you only have to purchase your favorite apps once.

That's the reason why I wouldn't do it, but it's probably worth looking into. Anytime you spend that much money it's good to cover all your bases. I bought two tabs at the same time and wound up with the GT 10.1 and Toshiba Thrive.

If I could get another tablet to go along with my Tab 10.1, I would get the HTC Flyer.
When I played with it in the store, it ran very smooth. It's also very potable.
My kids could bring it along with them.
I wish Staples carried it. I probably would have gotten it.

I would suggest the same, or at least look into it. I had an iPad 1 and just got the Tab 10.1 from the staples sale. Awesome combo.

thanks, folks. food for thought. and the ipad suggestion was totally out of the box. didn't think of that. interesting...

I've had alot of tablets in the last little while...Tab 7", Touchpad, Evo View 4g, Asus Transformer, Acer Iconia, and the original iPad.

I now have the iPad 2 and the GT10.1 and couldn't be happier. Although my GT is my "go to" tablet, it's nice to have the iPad for the things it offers.

Btw, I believe the GT10.1 is currently the best tablet on the market.
