A thread for those who are enjoying this phone

Agreed. The PH-1 had my attention from the beginning and still does. Google's hardware is plain and unexciting. I don't look at a Pixel and think, "wow, I have to have that." Since the 128GB 2 XL will be $300 more than a PH-1 after tax and I don't care about the camera, I have an even more difficult time seeing it as a must-have. But, I'm an equal opportunity dumpster fire watcher and will at least wait until 10/4 to see what's there. I'm curious but not on the edge of my seat.

If there is any sign that people are tired of the same thing being recycled. It's apple losing 50 billion in worth 10 days after they announced the new iPhones.

This does happen pretty much every single year after their announcement. Then when things go on sale they not only rebound, but crush the market.

The 8 is already on sale and it still dropped, plus the fact that I can go into an apple store 3 days after its made available for purchase is a sign no one wants that's **** outdated design.

I also curious to see the demand for the 10 how many people are really going to for over a grand for device that is mainly used for texting and looking at cat videos.

LOL come on dude. People aren't running out for phones like it's 2010. Plus the higher demand is for the iPhone X. And considering that the Note 8 is sub $1000 and is the best seller for Samsung, people are not going to have any issue shelling out that kind of money for iPhone X. There's no real upgrade benefit of the iPhone 8. Doesn't mean it's not going to sell well. Apple does what they do and do it best.

The market is EXTREMELY competitive now with Samsung and Apple. Put into place Xiaomi and Huawei in other markets, of course Apple sales or going to fluctuate. Does not mean they still aren't in the top 3 OEMs.

We will see come October 27th. They are in the top 3 but now at the bottom. As of August Huawei moved into the number 2 spot behind Samsung.

The PH-1 is like a tank. Heavy and I literally used today as a paperweight. Don't get me wrong, this phone got my attention when I saw this in sprint store. "I have to have it!". When I researched it the 128gb internal drive is at best. Camera app is not the best of the bunch but updated to a different app, man, I'm hooked. Fits my hand perfectly.

Same reasons here, really. I'm already in withdrawal. :p

Reading the forums makes one think there are a million things wrong with a device, when the truth is somewhere in between. There are issues but it's not all doom-and-gloom. Emotions always seem to get the better of people.

Other than the speaker grille mine was awesome enough that I would buy another in a heartbeat. In fact, chances are still high that I will.

I actually order the one and only case for this phone. it's fits nicely. I ended up taking it off, this phone is just so damn nice with out a case. the back has a few micro scratches probably because it's always in and out of my pocket. I don't really care it's a phone. The more I use this the more it grows on me.

I love this phone. No problems with it all. I put a clear plastic skin on mine and it is less slippery without the bulk and still keeps the original look.
