A warning! Don't buy LG products!

My LG 55" 3d Smart TV is 4 years old and still working as good as new

I have the same TV except mine is 7 years old now and still works just fine.

My LG G4 is almost 2 years old now and while I've never had the severe boot loop problem that some others have, it's just now starting to have some issues that concern me. I'm about 3 months away from being able to upgrade but those issues wouldn't automatically make me not consider a G6. Frankly I have no idea which phone I'm going to go with. If I choose a S8 it won't be by default because I don't trust LG anymore it will be because I felt the S8 was a better phone.

I'll check back with you in about 6months and see if you're saying the same thing.

I wouldn't bother. I rarely ever keep a phone longer than 3 months. I'll have probably moved on a few times by then

The same is here. Less than 3 months ago i bought brand new LG V10 on ebay. I did not use much. It went to that infinite boot loop. The reason is memory corruption. I called LG. They sent me a shipping label and instructions. Today i received an email from them telling me the phone is not covered by warranty, demanded $21 for diagnostic, stated that the phone is physically damaged. I called them again, told them it ws a new phone. But they refused to ship it back unless i pay these money.
They produce faulty products, lie, and extort money from their customers. I will never buy LG products again...
