Dents or chips in the surface?

In part due to my dislike of the glass/metal back design and in part to preserve the phone I immediately went with a dbrand skin when I got my Pixel XL last december. I then put a case over it and eventually a bumper case. The downside to doing this is if removal of any case you apply over a skinned phone requires stretching plastic/rubber around the edges of the device then the abrasive force applied to the skin when doing so will likely peel it off on the edges. Not an issue for me because I don't take my cases off. Skin seems to be holding up well after being on there for 11 months.
