a20e will not connect to usb c

[Android Central Question]

it just keeps saying. device not recognised. ive tried everything. reboots, uninstalling from device manager, 2 cables, 3 usb ports. settings in the phone. debug mode. *#0808# to change usb type. clearing cache partition and usb cache and data pretty much everything i can find on google. the weird thing is that it used to work but not now. im using win 10 btw. i had a look in device manager and it says port reset failed or device descriptor request failed. any ideas?

Have you tried a different computer?


Sounds like the phone's USB port is dead.
