A5 2017 sound issues

[Android Central Question]

The speaker and speakerphone sound became so low all of a sudden without any reason. I tried restarting, clearing the cache, diagnostics but nothing was successful. It is so annoying being not able to answer calls outside the room and not able to hear the ringtone. Help please

Welcome to Android Central! Does it happen in Safe Mode as well? How do I use Safe Mode on my Galaxy A5?. Is the volume normal using wired or Bluetooth headphone? If so, then the speaker is probably faulty.

I had this problem too and it did work with wired headphones normally, and it did work normally in safe mode aswell. And when I reset it back to normal it worked normally so all you need to do is go to safe mode and back.
