A51 5g Some icons disappear

Hi
Something strange has been happening to me for some time now. I put the game/app icon on the screen and, after a while, it disappears even though the app/game is still installed.
I put them back on and again they disappear.
This doesn't happen to all of them but, as far as I've noticed, only to some.

Nope.

Everything is stock. No 3rd party.

Sorry for the basic question, but you've checked to make sure the icons didn't somehow get dragged to a different homescreen, right?

As I said, this has been going on for some time, without any, that I notice, change (Android 13?)

Hmm. Sometimes, a major update to an app will cause the shortcut to disappear from the homescreen. The next time this happens, check the Play Store listing for the app and see if it just updated.

Of the missing icons, 2 Apps have not been updated for a long, long time. Others indeed have.
