AA calling home phone. Code required to check messages.

Using AA to call my home phone. When my home phone answers it requires a 3 digit code to be entered from the car's touch screen phone keypad to access messages. That keypad only seems to work when in park. Anyway to enter the 3 digit code from AA on my 2016 Honda Civic touchscreen phone keypad without being parked so i can check my home messages while on the road?

Not without parking (or not using AA), no. It's a safety thing.

Unless — and how could would this be — you learn to make the tones with your voice!

Can you add the 3 digits to the phone number? Maybe have a special phone book entry for voice mail and add the digits to the end (after a few commas to add a pause).
