AA handoff

is there a way to say start google maps on s8+ phone either using AA or just Google maps, and have it give directions on the gear s3, my apple phone,watch had this experience, but haven't found a way to do it on the Samsung setup. I use waze and google maps, but neither seem to be able to do this, I am new to not using apple products but am very much enjoying my new setup. just trying to figure out how to do this.

I don't think you can as designed. There is an app to put turn directions on the watch from Google maps. Works OK when paired to my note 5. I love my gear s3 frontier but I have found out it is nothing but a very expensive notification center. But I do use Samsung pay alot on it.

Samsung pay is the best on the watch.... so easy and convenient. Plus the ability to glance at a watch when you get a notification is nice when you are in a social or meeting situation. Although I did have someone ask me if I was late for a date...LOL

Only problem I have with this is that it sometimes is unreliable. In the past, I'd use it on my S3, then if I used Samsung Pay on the phone, the next time I'd try on the watch, my card was wiped off my watch, so I had to reset all the time. Some update somewhere fixed that. However, For the hell of it, I took out my S2 the other day, wore that for 2 days, and today put my S3 back on, tried Samsung pay at lunch, and all my data was wiped off again. I didn't use Samsung Pay on my S2 this weekend, and both watches are paired to my phone, so nothing changed other than the fact that I was "connected" to the S2 recently. Not sure why this is an issue.
