About date link

So I get an email where there is a specific date which shows as blue "hyperlink". Now on ios when I touch such link it took me to calendar to make an event there on that day. On Android I expected that to behave the same way but where did it take me when I touch the day? To dialer..... For example there is day in blue 03.05.2016. In my email messages. When I press it it goes to dialer with number 03052016. I expect I can change it somewhere to go to the right place (calendar)?
