I broke down and put .588 on my phone last week, and bootstrapped .595 on it today. I've noticed and wanted to ask, the 3G signal indicator, why does it turn white sometimes and then go back to light blue color, is it a bug or is it suppose to do it and if so, what's it for?

Also, is there any advantages going from .588 to stock .595 leak? I haven't noticed any right off the bat, wondering if any one has.

I believe the reason why it goes to the white color is for when you lose 3g and it's searching for it. I noticed when it is white, my data slows down immensely. As for the advantages, I don't know of any other than being able to run certain roms that are built off of .595. I've heard of people having issues with .595 so I just stayed at .588 until after the official ota update hits and it's been rooted. Considering the fact that I have heard no benefits to .595, I see no reason to flash it. My phone is running superbly on .588 with Liberty .4 rom.
