I'm a Engineer that has great deal of experience in Computers back in the days of mainframes and UNIX operating systems. My first computer to play with was a TRS -80 AKA Tandy Radio Shack that my friend owned and him and i would spend countless hours tinkering with this computer. After that i got an Apple ][ plus where i began my part time exploration of the operating system how to do assembly language programming, learning about spreadsheets such as Visicalc and Multiplan. Then DBase II Database programming where i created my first application a Home Inventory which i used extensively throughout my travels and relocations. Some years later i bought a IBM Clone PC where i continued to learn Disk Operating System (DOS) and then going to windows v3.1 then throughout the years and later versions of windows i continued learning about how to install, configure and use windows and its applications especially database programming. I learned how to use MS Access from version 1 to version X where X is the latest that is to say when a new version appears i try to learn all about it.
I have also progressed to web development where i learned about PHP and MySQL which is another database application.
When i first saw that android was based on Linux i started to explore and learn about this operating system and to learn more on how it all fits in with mobile phones.
I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S III and i'm interested in how i can modify the operating system and create applications APKs.
