About the Android Central Sideload Wonder Machine (i call it happy time machine)

Well I have actually successfully downloaded and side loaded a few apps already, but the bad thing is... How do i UPDATE THEM?? Because i have tried and they wont appear under my downloaded apps list in the market, and Ive used my aTrackDog app (i think that's the name) and a few of them need updates... so how do i go about doing this? Any help? and is there any where to search for a number of apps? Like a good source. Thanks in advance
