About the Spen....just curious

Oddly, with the Palm Treo, I used the pen all the time...

I had an hp something or other that was a teeny mini computer of sorts and it had a stylus, iirc. I used that but it wasn't a phone, it was around 1998, and I never had a Palm Treo. I don't think the Note was around at that time and if it was I didn't know about it. by the time I heard about the Note, phones had come a long long way.

New to Spen but I have used it on Note 5 for like a week. It's a good tool but not necessary and i dont use it everyday. Note taking doesn't work for me for 2 reasons, my handwriting is bad and i dont like Samsung Notes app, I use Google and typing is much faster or use voice input.

It works nice to sign docs, make some sort of diagram/drawing work related, and I like live messages, also I use it for screenshots. That's about it. Maybe few times a week is when I take mine out

Forgot, remote shutter button for camera is probably a good feature. I can see myself using it sometimes. Air gestures are a huge and stupid gimmick. Face drawing in camera is also useless

Enjoying the 10+ muchly - BUT - still a Pixel Person at heart - 3XL being set up now - will probably be my phone of choice as an everyday phone to use in my everyday life.

I think the Pixel still takes sharper pictures but I'm not complaining. I love my N10+.

Got'm both - Pixel 3XL is the most comfortable for me to hold - as soon as the case gets here I'll be using it the most - It's nice to have both to swap between though - like having a wife and a girlfriend - not that I would know - just guessing.

I like just about every thing about the P3XL except for the battery. I averaged about 4 1/2 - 5 hrs. SOT.

Although I probably don't use half the functions (and text recognition doesn't work well for me) I like it a lot.
I cheat though. I use a tab S4 stylus half the time because it's easier for me to navigate and write with (the main reason I love the multiple s pens option).

I like that. I have an old 8 inch (TAB)Note 3 with a stylus that's almost as big as a novelty pencil. I might just pull that out and use it on my Note 8.

The pen works great for me no issues at all. I use it daily to take notes or just scroll through my note.
