About to buy; Silver or Black?

A bit torn here-the silver certainly stands out more in a sea of black phones but the black is incredibly slick looking.
They both look great but I worry about the black anodized finish...can anyone comment on dings/dents/scratches and how easily they might appear?

i own the silver one i have mine in a case but i thnk the black one is faster to see if you scratched it of droped it due to its finish not really sure but i would suggest going with silver or if you in sprint wait for the red one plus you get the other one free

keep my silver in an otterbox. color preference is a matter of choice. i like mine naked every so often. both look good. black looks stylish. silver looks futuristic.

HTC one looks better in silver and in black u see a lot of finger marks and dirt marks the silver and black there the same in speed

Silver. I didn't really have a choice when choosing considering T-Mobile doesn't have the black one. But the Silver looks better, IMO.

I own the silver and my fianc? owns the black. I love my silver, but the black has held up really well. Way better then the iPhone 5's black version. Black does show fingerprints easier though.

The silver shows dirt and grime from your hands easier....

The silver will hold up better in the long run, and I personally think it's the better looking version to begin with.

Only thing I'd be worried about is fading/discoloration of the plastic bits of the silver One. My fear is it would turn ****-yellow.

I prefer silver over black. I got the black One at first but I didn't like the color, so I exchanged it for a silver One. Fingerprints and all that jazz seem to be less visible. My only gripe is that the white plastic gets dirty pretty easily.

Owned the silver for about a month. Exchanged it for the black with no question. It doesnt pick up finger prints as bad as people portray it to be. Owned the black for about 2 months now. Holding up really well, run naked.

The front of the black looks better imo bc it blends in with the screen, but from the back I like the silver better. I had the black Evo 4g and was sick of it anyway

I've got silver and love it. Black looks slick, but every phone is black. I would actually get the red OR blue One...if I had the choice today.
