Absolute Radio goes off after two minutes

I listen to Absute Radio on my phone but after two minutes the screen goes off and I lose connection. I have a P9.

I've been running it for about 7 minutes now, on the home screen, the screen timed out and the lock screen locked. no problem. So it has to be the phone. It may just be that media stops when the screen goes off in the P9.
